Michelle, Fiona (anubis1) suggested you try this: Create a hue /saturation adjustment layer. go to edit-adjust-hue/saturation. A fly out box will appear make sure you check the colourize box and click ok. Another box menu will open where you can adjust. play with the lighten slider and push it as far as it will go. Voila a white overlay. You can also play with the hue and saturation sliders to achieve any colour overlay you want as long as the colourize box is checked.

I'm sorry I couldn't link your original Baby's First Laugh piece to mine. I swore I put it in my faves but I couldn't find it in there anywhere. I'm glad you likes the photo I used. Sammy's mom (my niece) Lisa really likes it too. that is quite satisfying!

Hey Edeena ... hope all is well with you. We have had our share of issues with the darn flooding etc BUT nothing like the some of the devastation we are seeing around Australia - thanks for asking but I am going to try and be a bit more like your little bird (love that page) - hugs, Lisa
